The larger organisation has 17 generally part time employees who have different levels of experience and work at different levels dependent on the task in hand

The businesses work out of three locations one in Northfield, serving Birmingham, one in Wolverhampton, serving the Black Country and one in Daventry serving the east of the region. All are low cost locations meaning our costs are very competitive but are coupled with many years of experience.

It has run under the umbrella name of Polkadot & Ellis for more than 10 years and has operated successfully in all areas of financial compliance support and higher level Financial Management and general business support

The organisation is led by Brett Welch MA FCA the founder, a Chartered Accountant with many years of experience managing and running businesses in many sectors and he has led this business for its 10 years of existence.

He is supported by an expert experience team of Qualified Accountants, Qualified and Experienced Bookkeepers and Payroll support staff, all with relevant training

Support Package Structure

A specific package is developed in conjunction with the client through consultation. Many of our clients completely outsource their requirements to us, whereas others only use us for compliance. It is client specific.

Simple Social Enterprise Example – Alms-houses

P&W Social Accountants specialises in supporting a number of Alms-houses, with around 30 flats each. These are generally Charitable Structures providing endowed rented flats for elderly residents. The alms-houses are generally run by Voluntary Trustees, who employ a local resident manager whose main role is to inter act with the residents supporting them, whilst working with ourselves as we provide outsourced and financial support as appropriate for each Alms-house, the level of support varies on the skills and involvement of the Trustees.

We support through providing complete bookkeeping and payroll services, cash management and payments if asked, reporting to the trustees and to external parties as required.
